The Sartang language is only
previously known from words cited in Abraham et al. (2005) and Dondrup (2010)
where it is called ‘Boot Monpa’. It is spoken in some eight villages/hamlets
east of the Rupa –Bomdila road, of which Rahung is the most prominent.
